We may have Limited Vision, but God does not!

I don’t believe it is any coincidence that the devil is being defeated all over the world during this time of EACH. The capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden is one example. And now Ratko Mladic has been captured! God has heard our prayers and is answering them in ways we never even dreamed. Our vision for good is limited, but God’s is not! Now I am praying for the removal of Muammar Gaddafi. And on the home front, two men who have behaved very badly have been caught – Dominique Strauss-Kahn and Arnold Schwarzenegger. These two men have used their powerful positions to abuse others and fulfill their own needs over the wellbeing of the people they represent and their own families. Their is a growing resentment and sense of “wrong” among people about this type of behavior from our “Leaders” – and it is a very good thing! And on the good side, the Faith Medical Clinic in Pinckney, Michigan that has been serving people with no medical insurance with free medical care has been blessed with a $30,000 donation! I volunteer at the clinic, and have seen the people that have been turned away in the past because we could not afford to serve them. This is definitely a blessing from God! So, we must not stop praying for Metro Detroit (and the world), but keep our eyes open to the good the God is doing worldwde!

  1. Jeff Totten says:

From one of the 7,120 attendees at HOME PLATE 2011 at Comerica Park on May 14:

“Thank you for the work you are doing. I attended HOME PLATE with my wife and 15 year old grandson. I had witnessed to him a couple times but the testimonies of the HOME PLATE participants made the difference. On the way home, I was able to lead him to Jesus Christ. I came to Christ in 2007. This is the first person I have led to Christ and I praise God that it was my first-born grandson. Keep up the Lord’s work and God bless you all.”

“Thank you. Great program today. You do a fantastic job leading them through their testimonies and keeping them varied and relevant.” & “Thanks to those who participated in planning this event and making it possible. This is our church’s first time participating but I’m sure we will return. Thanks for making the Gospel clear.”
